3 wins, 3 defeats everyone knew this was a crucial game angainst the team DS were developing a good rivalry with..The Dynamo Kingston of the 3rd division if you will.

A very strong side on paper turned out, with arguably the first choice midfield of Cullum, Dave, Kingston and Mole. Kia and Rich up front after their live wire performance in training. Andy Mole and Wright joined Boyd and Harris at the back with the rock in goal.

Barbed wire around the top of th changin room reminded the boys that these guys were not exactly Facebook friendly, indeed the memory of Tagg's demise in the previous encounter was still fresh in the memory. The Game kicked off on a bog of a pitch which we later discoverd was French Dan's back garden - the boys wondered why he was running up and down the touch line chanting "Get offa may land"...in French obviously!

The boys started out OK, creating a couple of chances and keeping the opposition well away from the goal, so it came as a bit of a surprise when we fell behind. Everyone had stopped play and started walking to the halfway line so far was the ball over the DS goal line. Only Malden carried on playing and the attacker slotted the ball home nicely. Histerics ensued at the travesty of the decision...Bertie looking slightly sheepish on the touch line with his flag by his side. It wasn't what the boys deserved but it was a blow from which they never recovered.

For the second the Malden midfielder was allowed to trot through to get his shot off which bounced awkwardly for the rock (Andy of course!) and all he could do was parry it in off the post.

Half time came and the silence continued - Tanna had a few rallying words and Harris insisted we didnt want to be bottom...unfortunately neither had much effect as despite "a bit of a go" the boys ran out 4-0 losers. One goal was a pot shot from 30 yards - It was only really their 3rd that was a genuine good goal but still DFC didn't create too much. Mole had a good chance and Callum worked the keeper with a header but the only other incident of note was Rich squaring up to an opponent a whole foot taller than him only to be sent off for standing up to a bully.

Still we are in 2 cups and a win next week, before the party, will be just the tonic the team needs. Lets all pick ourselves up and make sure this doesn't happen again. VIVA LA DARKSIDE!
